Assumption Vs. Opinion

A friend of mine said "...I think bein in love is somethin we gotta figure out on our own. Anything said by anyone else seems like an assumption" I don't think that anything said by anyone else is an assumption...I believe its more of personal assumption of each person who's ever experienced or even if they haven't. Love is somethin with a definition yet still cannot be defined.
